The M4 Competition Cabriolet brings full M Division engineering into the 4 Series convertible body. The 3.0 L inline-6-cylinder S58 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology produces 523 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. The BMW Z4 Final Edition: A Roadster at the End of Its Run

The Z4 Final Edition is the last Z4 that will ever be built. Production ran from February to April 2026 in limited numbers, and every example is built to Z4 M40i specification with a 3.0 L inline-6-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine producing 382 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque, reaching 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. The Z4 has been offered with a 6-speed manual since 2024, and the Final Edition keeps that choice: buyers select either the manual or an 8-speed Steptronic.

The 6-speed manual version receives dedicated chassis tuning, including unique auxiliary springs at both axles, a reinforced anti-roll bar clamp at the front, remapped electronic damper control, reconfigured variable sport steering software, and unique traction control and M Sport differential logic. Visually, the Final Edition is finished in BMW Individual Frozen Black metallic with high-gloss black trim throughout and red brake calipers on the M Sport brakes. The staggered wheel package runs 19-inch Double-Spoke Bicolour 800M wheels up front with 255/35 R19 tires and 20-inch wheels at the rear with 285/30 R20 tires. Red contrast stitching threads through the Vernasca Leather and Alcantara interior, across the instrument panel, centre console, door panels, and M Sport seats. The door sill plates read "Z4 FINAL EDITION." The Harman Kardon surround sound system comes standard through the Premium Enhanced Package.
